Bio
When I turned to hypnotherapy in 2022, I wanted to explore a field of care that places importance on the emotional, intuitive, and imaginative landscape of people’s mind. Since then, I am grateful for the opportunity to delve deeper into the unconscious, accompanying folks in their inner worlds. The unconscious communicates in symbols, images, feelings, and characters, and hypnosis allows us to speak its language.
Daily, I witness how integrating the imagination into the therapeutic experience makes it easier to embody our insights and the change we desire. What inspires me most about hypnotherapy is seeing people rediscovering hidden abilities, feeling more confident, regaining hope and allowing themselves to live more authentically.
I’ve been a community worker for the last decade and this social implication is essential to me. In my current part-time work as a sexual health counsellor within the queer community, I support folks in taking care of themselves all while advocating for systemic change. When working with marginalized people, I believe it’s crucial to be aware of the systemic challenges they face. Although hypnotherapy is a transformation and solution-oriented practice, I care to hold what’s difficult with empathy and to stay conscious of systemic barriers.
As a hypnotherapist, my approach is client-driven, placing one’s choices, feelings, and values at the heart of each session. I support each person with attention and care, ensuring a sense of safety in every session.
